Great place to go if you want to take a 50/50 chance that they will be out of something you want! But on the off chance they DO HAVE IT, great food!

Stopped to pick up one of the famous spiedie sub and did not realize that they were CASH only...they lost a sale as I had a card, not cash. 😒Suggest that they start taking cards then they would have double the business that they have now, just saying.🤷‍♀️

Been THE place for fries and a Spedie Sub nearly 55 years!...my personal favorite is Cheeseburger Sub! Cash only...but worth every penny.

Good food. Love there speadie pork nuggets. Their unique. Very tasty. Made sure you come before 5 because there is a rush around then and it becomes really busy. But worth the wait. Wish their fries were better. They get hard, quick.

Gave me wrong sub. I live 30 minutes away and had just finished a 10 hour shift. Realized this after I arrived home, called and was told if I brought it back they would give me the correct sub. Or I could get a voucher ionly if I returned the sub..... REALLY????

First time trying this chain. I feel it was terrible, extremely greasy speedies and over salted. The toppings were a dollar extra for each one and the sides were small and stale. I won’t be returning here every again. Spare your self the waste of money and bad food.

Very excellent spiedies. Taste charbroiled not boil like other place. Fries are always hot, fresh and greasy.

Stopped by while I was up north visiting family and ended going three days in a row. This place is SOOO GOOD

If you want to experience this crazy speedie thing this is the place to do it. It is not at all about the atmosphere; that hasn't changed in the 30+ years since I first visited. It's all about the food and you won't be disappointed.

The one and original Lupos. We have always loved the chicken spiedies sub "Endwell Style" with mushrooms and provolone. YOU MUST EAT HERE!

The food here is always great!!! I've been coming here since I was a little kid and it's always the greatest subs & sandwiches. Love it!

The food is never a disappointment. The employees on the other hand are the worst. The are rude, moody, and always look miserable.

An area favorite spiedies. Very localized fare. This is something that you will find only in this area of upstate New York because of the large amount of Italian immigrants that moved to this area after World War II

Absolutely love this place! I've been coming here since I was a kid and now my kids eat here. Especially love the speidies and the steak sandwich with mushrooms.

Lupos has some of the best food in the county. Whenever i'm in the mood for some quickly prepared savory food its Lupos. Last time I had Lupo's I had the sausage and hamburger because they are my favorites from here. The food is always made fast so you're never waiting too long. I spent my life thinking speedies were eh until I had a pork speedies with mayo and onions for this place. It was phenomenal

Food was good. But I feel like the girl taking my order was a little rude. I dunno.....maybe its customary for them to whip my order up on the counter like a heathen.

My favorite place for spiedies

This is the OG spiedie spot. Their subs are a step up from all the other spiedie places around town. Unfortunately, cash only.

They have some of the best food compared to eateries with similar menus in the area, especially their speidis!They are very efficient, inexpensive and get you in and out the door very quickly with fresh, made-to-order hot food!They do not offer indoor dining due to the fact it's more of a small take out eatery. If it's a fair weather day,they do offer out door dining under a covered area with multiple picnic tables. It's a cash only business,so don't forget to visit the bank before you arrive! Eat at Lupo's Char Pit once and you'll def be back for more!

I used to go here all the time, especially when the acutal owners were working. The owner's know how to cook, but these kids don't. The past 4 times I have been there, the spedies were undercooked and rubbery and their deep fried food is so disgusting. I ordered onion rings, again hoping they would be good, but knowing they wouldn't be. And yet again disgusting. Same thing with every thing else that's deep fried there. I hope lupos gets some people in there that know what they are doing. Because these guys clearly hate their jobs and they're taking it out on their food, and the people. I'm not being rude. I'm being real. What happened to the good ol days. Now we worry every time we go on whether or not it's going to be good. Because its expensive and were tired of being disappointed. I waited 2 years to write this, hoping things would change. It looks like I'm going to have to try the one in Binghamton. Disappointed.

The best spiedies I've ever had. Its the birthplace of spiedies just like the anchor bar is to wings. Pork or chicken, they are flavorful, tender, very juicy. Excellent on a sub roll. Well worth it

Lipo's is part of my friends tour of up state ny Lupe has a sandwich called a speedy it's a BBQ sandwich it can be beef , chicken , or lamb I had the beef and my friend had the chicken this is one of the best BBQ I have had .
